Meaning ‘the blue of a clear or unclouded sky,’ Azure draws upon the translucent turquoise hues of the sea and sky to embody a peaceful backdrop for an exceptional dining experience. Its name, derived from Hispanic Arabic, refers to lapis lazuli, a deep-blue semi-precious stone prized for its intense color and, by the end of the Middle Ages, used to make the most luxurious of all blue pigments – ultramarine.
